Do you know about endangered species in South America?
In Peru, the GUANACO, a wild camelid related to the llamas and alpacas is ALMOST EXTINCT.
How come most people don’t know?
Help me find funding to help this species!!
I’m working with an American scientist in Peru, and we have no funds to keep our work going on.
The Guanaco is a wild species. You can’t raise in a farm. Though, there are some “guanaco farms” in Patagonia, meaning that they have large extensions of land where guanacos live, which is different.
There are MANY guanacos in Argentina and some less in Chile. But they are different races. The Peruvian Guanaco is about to become extinct.
Amur (Siberian) Tigers the most powerful predator in the world?
Knowing that Bengal Tiger Cubs have escaped constriction from adult pythons and Adult Bengal Tigers see Pythons, Crocodiles, Elephants, and various other large animals on their menu, The Tiger is truly ONE TOUGH CAT! But, its been said that the Amur Tiger is the most powerful animal of all! Period! This cat can weigh nearly 1/2 of a ton! That is double the size of some african lions! They say that even Russian Brown Bears (which are basically grizzly bears) occasionally fall victom to these cats! The only other animal that I can think of that could be even with The Amur Tiger would be a Polar Bear. The strength of a Tiger is unmatched! A lion would be hamburger against this cat. But whats your opinion? These Tigers are endangered. There are very few left in the wild. Hopefully Russia and China can work together to help save it from extinction.
When I say the most powerful predator in the world I don’t include humans or sea animals. I’m talking about non- human land animals
What would money for endangered species awareness groups do?
I am writing a proposal paper on how the government should give more money to endangered specie awareness groups so that they can 1. take the correct actions to save the animals. 2. it would end current conflict between activist groups and 3. the money would also help save the environment .
Can anyone help me elaborate on any of my 1-3 pros towards my argument????
