    It is not endangering species.

The only testing involving endangered animals is to find out how to help with their reproduction. Cincinnati Zoo is making miraculous discoveries to help endangered species.

Product animla testing is done on animals that would be in shelters to euthanize.

they usually use domestic animals to test on. Not wild endangered species.

It may be inhumane and disturbing, but no aminal is endangered because of animal testing.
Animals used in research and testing are specifically bred by suppliers or taken from pounds.

    That includes monkeys.

These days most lab animals are bred for that purpose, so they are really not endangered. However, back in the 1950s and 60s, the US imported a huge number of rhesus macaque monkeys from India, which were very highly used lab animals, and India did cut off their exportation for fear they were going to disappear entirely. That’s when we began breeding rather than importing.
