How can someone help sea otters to not go extinct?

clean and properly dispose of all trash. Help beach cleanup. wild marine life can get caught in and die because of human waste like plastic bags, 6-packs and yogurt jars since they don’t have hands.
Stop widespread ocean fishing via modern techniques like trawling or thsoe big nets… killing open ocean life reduces coastal life and otters…

reduce global warming, which contributes to changes in the water which kill things the otter live off of.

I like other person’s answer–dispose of all trash.
Also, try to find a group (for example, the World Wildlife Fund among others), where they sponsor captive-breeding programs for endangered animals.
Also, support those people (e.g., celebrities or sports figures) that take the time to educate the public about such issues.
You will find that your efforts would certainly not go wasted.

okay you can help by making sure the ocean is not overfished and not polluted and such and where sea otters breed could be protected from development
