Should creationists support expansion and strict enforcement of the Endangered Species Act?

endangered species

Snce god created each species as part of his perfect plan doesn’t extinction constitute a blasphemous denial of that plan by humans?

Of course. I am saddened when I hear of any extinction!

No, because HE can create more. When GOD burns this world up then what?EVRYTHING AND EVERYONE will be extinct. Those who obeyed GOD will be in Heaven with the animals HE created who go there when they die.

No. There is not enough water able to be used in California because they are afraid a fishy might get caught in the purification system.

So the people of California are deprived of water because of a fish.

It seems the only beings creationists are interested in are those that they believe have souls. Everything else can perish.

No; God gave man control over His creation.

That’s an interesting question, not because of any relationship to the “god” question, but for evolutionists. Why should evolutionists, who recognize that old species die out (become extinct) and new ones appear, want to put a lot of effort into maintaining a species that might otherwise, just go the way of the do-do bird?

I would think this would tend to separate the ecologists who are concerned with maintaining all species’ survival with those who understand the nature and workings of evolution. Ideas?

they should but why are greed motivated theists like Palin trying to prevent the polar bear from being put on the endangered list? oh because of the greed i guess, which kinda contradicts the desire for heavenly over earthly pleasure

They should but we have to be realistic, creationists are just not the sharpest tools in the shed. If they were, they would not be creationists in the first place.

Funny. Did you know that people use to believe the extinction of a species was impossible because god would never let his creatures die out. Funny isn’t it.

Why confuse matters by bringing YOUR God into it?
You ask a philosophical and ethical question and you confuse the issue by turning it into a religious one. If anything, the religious in this instance is unethical: man as the supreme creature of creation is given license to reap and selfishly enjoy the rest of the creation.
Life is a ferocious power that once it got grip of the planet it does not let go easily. Look at vegetation growing wherever it gets a chance, viruses and bacteria mutating in order to continue their existence or be at the bedside of an elderly person approaching death and see how life torments the body before it gives up.
“Why exist if you are going to eventually die” is a meaningless question because by the time you have a brain that asks this question, you already exist. You never had the choice. You were never given the choice. No living creature ever had the choice. Life is a ferocious force.

If you consider that you have a duty to YOUR OWN descendants, then you should promote any measures which limit negative human impact on the environment and its living creatures.

Stories of old men sitting in tents or mud huts thousands of years ago in a much smaller world which was even smaller for them because they were unaware of the extent of the globe is no basis for us making decisions in the 21st century.

Anything that environmental groups are involved in should be ignored
by Christians; if possible, the groups should be destroyed completely.

Every person has an obligation to reasonable responsibility of our
Earth/environment. However, these groups are mostly just a front for
communist/marxist groups, and they are handed incredible amounts
of power by the liberal leftwing radical Democrats in Congress who
know full-well that polar bears are not the true agenda of these groups.
But they know if they can use guilt and pointing fingers saying “how could you turn your back and watch the demise of an entire animal
species” boowoo waaaa boohoo……and of course Nancy Pelosi with
her “EXCUSE ME WHILE I AM TRYING TO SAVE A PLANET HERE”
statement that is utter crap but she knows it will forward the agenda
that has nothing to do with cuddly little animals but rather these
groups are used to gain power and then change laws in their own
favor. Last year some of these radicals tried to hide a gay marriage
provision inside of a “save the caribou” bill, for example.

Anyone who is a Christian knows that God states this Earth will be
inhabited forever, that God is in control, on the throne and the earth
will not be destroyed. But even if you are an athiest, you should be
able to see thru the Al Gore bullllshit because he didn’t even switch
over to the environmentally-sound lightbulbs in his own home until
people began to ask him why his house was such a waster of
energy - then he hurries to get work done to it so he can continue
to rake in the millions he has for his silly books, speaking engagements, and “green” companies he wants Americans to invest
in. His pockets are lined with cold hard cash, believe it. What a
total scam. Global warming? Hell, I can remember barely 20 years
ago when the same crowd insisted we were going into global
cooling and we were all gonna freeze to death. You would think these
people would be happy that the earth warmed up………

DO NOT BUY INTO THIS NONSENSE; SCIENTISTS MUST EITHER
PLAY ALONG WITH IT AND SWEAR THAT THE EARTH IS IN JEOPARDY, OR ELSE THEY ARE REFUSED FEDERAL GRANTS
FOR THEIR OTHER WORK. The Earth is NOT in trouble; the ones
who are in trouble are our kids who are fed this nonsense in the
public schools and the colleges; these kids are being taught that
the earth will meet its demise, but they are not taught simple basic
American History. Our kids are in trouble, because the textbooks
they are given are being published by liberal leftwing marxists who
want to feed them generous amounts of bullshit, including that the
United States is guilty of horrible crimes in all the wars we’ve fought,
how everything is our fault and even that terror organizations are
not terrorists, but rather “resisters” of horrible crimes perpetrated against them by America and Israel.
You wanna do something beneficial? Start yelling about the fact
that our children are learning nothing for a $100,000.00 education
except to be a radical dissenter and turn their back on their own
Country. God will take care of the little polar bears like he has been
doing for millions of years with all the other species.
