100 human lives. we’re in this as a species. though, i’m not opposed to it if you want to declare yourself a cat or something. lol.

I dont think you can compare the two at all. Human life is the most valuable certainly, but we have been put in charge of caring for our planet and its other inhabitants also so if we take action that hurts them, we are in the wrong.

The least of all people is worth more than all the animals that have ever lived or ever will live.

PS: Interesting how many people hold human life in low esteem. That tells me a lot about why there is so much poverty in the world.

Depends on which human and what species. George Bush or rodents… keep the rats.

    The species is more important.

An entire species fills a niche in nature and has a particular purpose. Having an entire species die out in an unnatural way causes severe disruptions to the natural balance of the environment.

I’m not saying the life of all sorts isn’t important, but if you’re just going to weigh it as far as sheer magnitude, the species of animal has a much bigger impact.

Man because man was created in the image of God.

in my opinion 1 human life is worth saving an entire species of animal from extinction.

Depends on the species, and the human:

My life vs. all the mosquitoes? Voting for for myself on this one.

Dick Cheney vs. the last of the pandas? Sorry, Dick…

i say humans r more important cuz animals have no soul and i know some of us like to think they do but they dont…if i had to make the choice of saving one human over 100,000 animals i would chose the 1 human…my opinion if u dont agree please dont get mad and say im wrong cuz every one has they’re right to an opinion

I would say an entire species.

We are talking extinction, people. Get a clue.

All life is important to our Creator. Jesus said that although a sparrow may seem valueless to us, “not one of them will fall to the ground without YOUR Father’s knowledge” However he went on to say “YOU are worth more than many sparrows” Matthew 10:31
Human life is sacred because man is the only fleshly creature created in God’s own image, that is, with his capacity for love and wisdom, sense of justice, and ability to use our limited power for good among other desirable qualities. Even in our imperfect state, we still have these qualities in varying degrees. (Genesis 1:27)

John 3:16 - “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life”

Since God sacrificed his only-begotten for us humans then we must be infinitely more important than animals. Animals cannot understand or appreciate spiritual things so Jesus’ sacrifice dose not apply to them. Only humans were created in God’s image.

Genesis 1:26 - “And God went on to say: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth.”

    neither, beloved one : )

they are all players in this dream, there is only you… : )

you travel but in dreams, while safe at home (in heaven : )

the world you see is an illusion of a world. god did not create it, for what he creates must be as eternal as himself. yet there is nothing in the world you see that will endure forever… : )

    love & light : )
