The white rhino. the world’s largest is the elephant, but rhinos are second. And obviously, poachers are the chief reason it is endangered. the horns are used as decorations, as well as in chinese medicines. very few rhinos survive outside protected areas.
“people hunt them for their horn, which is thought in many places to have medicinal properties. although this is not true, they are still killed because a horn can be sold for a lot of money to people that still think it works.
