its an elephant and we are the reason its endangered we kill them for ivory
The white rhino. the world’s largest is the elephant, but rhinos are second. And obviously, poachers are the chief reason it is endangered. the horns are used as decorations, as well as in chinese medicines. very few rhinos survive outside protected areas.
“people hunt them for their horn, which is thought in many places to have medicinal properties. although this is not true, they are still killed because a horn can be sold for a lot of money to people that still think it works. The feet are sometimes hollowed out, dried, and used as “decorative waste baskets” and the tail is chopped off and used as a fly swatter and sold to tourists or locals. the rest of the body will all go to waste and rot.” i got that off a website, word for word, can’t take credit.
